Keeton Blakeney

Student Minister

Where's he from: Born in Montgomery but spent the majority of his life in New Orleans, LA. Moved back to Montgomery and finished high school at Trinity and then went on to Samford in Birmingham.

Ministry Story: Keeton was called to be the Minister of Music at a church in the Birmingham area while still a student at Samford. When the student minister left the church, he took over the position as interim and ended being given the responsibility along with music. After graduation Keeton moved to a large church in Panama City, FL to start a contemporary service...when a position came open in the student ministry, Keeton moved into that position. Many years later he was called to move home to Montgomery to become the Student Minister.

Family: Wife Shelley, children Tinsley, Chapel and Brantley.

Favorite Sports Team: Anything in the SEC

Favorite Pastime: Studying for his seminary degree from New Orleans and playing with his kids.

Little Known Fact: Keeton can't burp.
