How Do I Join Taylor Road?
There are three ways that Taylor Road receives people into membership:
- By profession of faith and baptism. If you receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and follow Him in baptism
- By letter. As a Baptist whose church membership is elsewhere, we will gladly take care of the details of moving your church membership.
- By statement. If you are a member of a church, having made a profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and following him in New Testament baptism by immersion, we gladly accept you upon your statement.
At the conclusion of each worship service, an opportunity is provided for people to join the church in one of these three ways. When the pastor extends the invitation, those who desire to respond are instructed to walk to the front of the worship center where one of our pastors will be waiting to greet them. Don't be afraid, you will not be the only one who comes forward. Our new member volunteers will be also coming forward during the invitation to stand with you during this special time of decision. Following the service anyone who responds is given an opportunity to talk to someone about his decision.
